Imprinted Concrete
Imprinted Concrete surfaces are sealed when first laid, but then need to be re-sealed every 3 to 5 years to continue protecting the colour in the surface and keep them looking good.
Cheshire Drive Cleaning apply Smartseal™ Imprinted Concrete Sealer to protect against surface wear, algae, staining and to keep the colour in the surface.
We will clean your surface with our professional equipment and apply two coats of sealer. If the surface has been left for some years without being sealed, we can apply a colour tint, in one of 20 shades which correspond to the industry-standard colours these surfaces are originally sealed with.
Sometimes, homeowners find their imprinted concrete surfaces can be slippery when wet. If this has been a problem in the past, we can apply Smartseal™ Anti-Slip Agent to the second coat of sealer. These tiny particles create a 'sandpaper' type of finish, which, while invisible to the naked eye, increase surface friction ensuring that footwear gets a decent grip on the surface.
One of the best parts of our job is seeing how pleased customers are with the results! The imprinted concrete restoration process we follow and the quality of the materials used nearly always puts the surface back in a 'like new' condition.
